About this tool
This is what printer drivers call N-up printing, done once in the file itself so the layout survives sharing and archiving. Each page is scaled to fit its slot with the aspect ratio preserved, so nothing is stretched or cropped.
Two pages per sheet on landscape A4 gives a readable handout; four is the usual choice for slides; nine and sixteen are contact-sheet density and only work for checking layout, not for reading. The original file is never uploaded — pdf-lib rebuilds the document in your browser.

- Yes. The pages are embedded as vector content, not screenshots, so text and links survive.
- In what order are pages placed?
- Reading order: left to right, then down. Page 1 is the top-left slot of the first sheet.
