About this tool
Images are placed in a grid in the order you selected them, each one drawn into a cell of the same shape. Fill crops the parts that overhang, which keeps the grid tidy; fit shows the whole picture and pads the rest with the background colour.
Every cell is rendered at 600 pixels wide, so a three-column collage comes out around 1800 pixels — large enough for print at small sizes and for any social platform. The result is a lossless PNG.
Frequently asked questions
- How many photos can I add?
- As many as your device's memory allows. A few dozen is fine; hundreds of large photos may be slow.
- Can I reorder the photos?
- The order follows your file selection. Rename the files or select them in the order you want.
- Can I make a transparent background?
- The background is a solid colour here. Use the gaps colour that matches your target page, or crop afterwards.
