Sign PDF
Choose a PDF, create a signature by drawing, typing or uploading, pick the page and position, and download the signed document. Nothing is uploaded.
About this tool
Most everyday paperwork — rental agreements, consent forms, delivery notes — only needs a visible signature, not a cryptographic certificate. This tool draws your signature as an image on the page, exactly like printing, signing and scanning, but without the printer. Draw with a mouse, trackpad or touch screen, type your name in a script font, or upload a PNG of your real signature with a transparent background.
The signature is placed relative to a page corner with a margin you control and a width given as a percentage of the page, so it lands in the same spot on portrait and landscape pages. You can sign one page, a range, or every page. The result is a normal flattened image inside the PDF that any viewer displays.
Frequently asked questions
- Is this a legally binding electronic signature?
- It is a simple electronic signature: a visible mark of consent. Many contracts accept that; documents that require a qualified or certificate-based signature need a dedicated eSignature service.
- How do I get a transparent signature image?
- Draw it here instead of uploading: the drawing pad produces a transparent PNG automatically.
- Can others remove the signature?
- As with a scanned signature, an editor could erase the image. Flatten and protect the PDF if you want to make edits harder.
