About this tool
Pages are rendered with PDF.js, the same engine Firefox uses to display PDFs, so fonts, vector drawings and transparency come out exactly as on screen. 150 dpi is a good default for sharing and slides; 300 dpi matches print quality and produces large files for A4 pages.
JPG gives the smallest files for pages with photos, while PNG is lossless and keeps sharp edges on text-heavy pages and diagrams. Rendering is sequential, so a long document takes a few seconds per hundred pages; the page range option lets you convert only what you need.

- Which resolution should I choose?
- 72 dpi for quick previews, 150 dpi for screens and presentations, 300 dpi for printing. Higher values mean larger images.
- Can I convert only some pages?
- Yes. Enter a range such as 1-3, 7 in the pages field. Leave it blank to convert the whole document.
- Why is the tool limited to 200 pages per run?
- Each page becomes an image held in memory. Convert longer documents in ranges to keep your browser responsive.
- Is the PDF uploaded?
- No. Rendering happens on your device with PDF.js; nothing is sent anywhere.
